Terms and Conditions
Once we have received your order we will send a confirmation to your email address. It is therefore important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a guarantee of proof of purchase.
You can choose to pay with credit or debit cards and PayPal. With payment by credit or debit cards, Stripe manages all of our banking transactions. Spectre Time does not handle any credit card information.
Payment by card
Pay with your American Express, Visa or MasterCard securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Stripe with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments. When paying by credit / debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, Spectre Time may automatically cancel your order.
Spectre Time uses the industry’s highest security measures to ensure that your credit card information is protected. When an order is placed through our shopping cart, your personal information is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, the industry standard security protocol for encoding sensitive information. No credit card information is stored on our website or on our servers. If you call us to make a transaction that involves a financial transaction, we will ask you for your credit card details again, since we would not have access to this information.
All prices on our homepage do not include any form of VAT or GST. All orders may be subject to additional duties, import taxes, brokerage, or customs fees upon delivery (Not included in the shipment fee).
Orders made in another person’s name without his consent, or otherwise as a result of Spectre Time suffering economic damage will be reported to the police. Spectre Time holds the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is obviously incorrect, this may compel Spectre Time to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time. Private consumers have the right to return the order within 14 days from receiving the order. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received. If consumers use their right to send back an order they should contact Spectre Time in order to get an address to send the goods to. You should inform us within 14 days after receiving the product that you want to return it. The product should be in our possession at the latest 14 days after informing us about your wish to return it. Return shipping is paid by the consumer. If an item is damaged during transport, Spectre Time should be contacted within 30 days for information about compensation. Items that are pre-ordered in connection with Crowdfunding services are not covered by the 14 day return policy as these items will be made based on the total order quantity i.e. pre-order purchases are final. The same applies to sample products. Please note that we do not accept returns that are made without our certified return form.
Warranty term: Two years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, case, crystal). Other parts than the above are not covered by this warranty. To have replacement covered under this warranty performed, please use our contact form on the “Contact Us” page. In the e-mail you need to specify your name, address, order number and a detailed description of the issue at hand. Finally, write ‘Warranty’ as subject of the e-mail and mail. Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term.
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.).
- Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification.
- Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake.
- Aesthetic changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc.; on the case and/or cystal, alteration of the colour on the wristband and the peeling of the plating).
- In case the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten.
Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term.
The case, dial, hands, crystal, watchband or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.
This warranty warrants that you can receive free replacement in accordance with the terms set forth herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the Customer.
Any damage caused due to the modification of the watch is not covered by our warranty. Only if the modification is arranged and executed directly via our service center the original warranty will be maintained.
Spectre Time has the right to adjust prices, involve additional cost and change product information such as product pictures and offers without notice. The product images and information texts available reflect the product as much as possible. We reserve the right for any errors that may appear on the page and cannot guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance of the watch. The pictures may differ depending on the color settings in your computer. All pictures should be seen as illustrations only, and do not guarantee correct appearance and characteristics.
Delivery and Cancellations
Spectre Time ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners in other countries around the world. You have the right to cancel purchases and return delivered goods by contacting customer service, provided the goods are unpacked and in the same condition as when you received them. However, the cost and risk for transporting the returned goods to Spectre Time will be on you.
In cases where you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfill the order it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Spectre Time either by email or telephone. If a product has been discontinued Spectre Time has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. Spectre Time will notify the customer of a replacement or equivalent products if available.
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered or, you shall also contact us within 30 days from receiving the product. Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly with instructions on how to return the item. Defective products returned to Spectre Time should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. In the case that a returned product has no errors or faults, a fee of $35 USD in shipping return will be charged. Spectre Time has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund.
Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the material published on it are owned by Spectre Time or its licensors. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Spectre Time.
All attempts at fraud are reported to the police and Spectre Time reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.
You don’t like spam. We don’t like spam. Because of this, we only send our newsletter to email addresses that have opted in, and they may opt out at any time. If you place an order with us, we send email messages pertaining to your order. If you have an account with us, we will send you email messages pertaining to your account. We do not sell your email address to other parties.
Your Personal Information
We collect your personal information when you provide it to us as you place your order or open an account. We use this information to process your order, provide you with support, update you on your order, update you on your account, and maintain your account. We may also use this information to send out a Spectre Time catalog or for digital re-marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information to other parties, but we may share your information with third parties for our own marketing as well as to perform services on our behalf.
We collect non-personal information from you, including your browser type, the URL of the previous web site you visited, your ISP, operating system, what products you look at on our website, etc. This information aids us in improving your experience with us, and is collected by almost all sites that you visit.
If you are under the age of 13, you are not permitted to submit any personal information to Spectre Time. Spectre Time is intended for users who are 13 years of age and older.
